This all-steel car was built in 1972 by International Car Company for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad and later transferred to Conrail. Retired 1988 it has been in private hands since. Car has NO rust, which is an extremely rare situation. Most cabooses have rust through the side sheets at the battery box and the toilet areas. Exterior is in good overall condition with very minor collision damage on one corner of the roof. (Seller can repair for an additional $1100.) All glass IS damaged. Interior of car is in fair condition, having been used for storage for 10 years. Car is on live rail. It has roller bearing trucks, good couplers and all safety appliances. It can be moved on any railroad in North America to your destination. We can arrange for overseas transport as well. Approximately 35 feet overall length, 8 foot overall width, 10 feet at bay windows. Cabin is 28 feet in interior length. This car weighs 44,000#. Car will require air brake inspection prior to shipment, available from seller at additional cost.
